Cracked Heels & Dry Skin Treatment
When the sensitive skin on the bottom of the feet and heels becomes too dry due to insufficient moisture, it can split open, leaving painful cracks, which can lead to bleeding or serious infections.
As damage in the feet from uncontrolled blood sugars causes dry skin, diabetic people are at more at the risk due to cracked heels than non-diabetic people. If your cracked, dry, and painful heels are not healed by and over-the-counter foot lotion, we treat it along with associated infection.
Callus and Cracked heels are painful conditions which can occur to both children and elders. Under the callus condition skin of your heel thickens, becomes less flexible and becomes uncomfortable to walk on any surface. Particularly in summer, the callus can create a fissure and crack around your heels, which is painful to remove by hand file or pumice stone during the bath.
Sensing your need, we use scalpel debridement to reduce thick skin of your heel. Apart from treating your callus condition, we also recommend you to wear specific footwear and to apply topical emollient for reducing of callus formation.
